Comme on l’a souvent dit, Django Reinhardt est le héros d’un peuple, celui du peuple tsigane. Son style de jeu et de composition a longtemps été imité, donnant naissance à un style à part entière, aujourd’hui très populaire : le jazz manouche. Issu d’une famille manouche, il est encore aujourd’hui l’un des guitaristes les plus respectés et influents de l’histoire du jazz.
